Finding the Answers

I never knew how beneficial Bible school would be. I've been reading the Bible since I was a child and thought I had a pretty good grasp on it, but it never occurred to me that I could be missing something. Reading God's Word and searching it out is two different things. Many of us read the Bible, but how many of us search for the revelations, meanings, etc in the Word?

Needless to say, after but just a few weeks of classes, I have more of a desire to get in there and see what I may had been overlooking. God's Word is an everlasting tool for marriage, love, friends, and life in general. You never know how it benefits you unless you "dig deep". You can only gain so much from the sermons at church and the Sunday school lessons. You have to find out for yourself, what God is trying to say about your life. If you've been reading it awhile, read it again...slowly. Take the time to pull the words out and to feel what the writer felt.

What if you was taking a test at school and the teacher gave you the answer sheet? I believe you wouldn't have a problem with Ace'ing the test. In this life, there are test that we all march through, and God's Word gives us the answers we need to pass.  "That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:" I Peter 1:7 Gold has to go through an extreme amount of heat, twice, to reach it's purest form (Ehow.com). Your faith may have to go through some trials or "tests" that feel like you're in "hot water" or in a place of difficulty, but those trials are more precious than the purest forms of gold because it strengthens your faith in God. Ehow or Wiki may tell you that Gold is incorruptible but that's their term for "not rusting". Gold, as Peter stated will pass away, but your faith in Christ should remain constant. You can find answers on how to overcome your trials by reading God's Word and having faith in them. Always remember the key to power in the scriptures..."But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." James 1:22
