Pushing the Reset Button

We got some members from our church together the other day and went bowling. Most of us hadn't been in a long time. Have you ever had one of those bowling lanes that just didn't work? That was ours, lane 17. We spent the whole night pushing the reset button in between every roll. I was so frustrated having to do that over and over again. Then I thought about how we as Christians can get stuck, don't want to work, and feels like we're always asking to be fixed. It's time for God to push our reset button. Did you know that the worst place that a Christian can be in is the place where we feel like we don't need to ask for help or forgiveness? David asked God in Psalm Ch. 51 to renew in him a right spirit, restore the joy of his salvation, and only then would he be able to teach transgressors His ways and sinner would be converted. We need to open our Bible and pray this scripture aloud to God, because we all need a renewing of His Spirit. We all need our reset button pushed. We all need Revival! I'm not just talking about an all-week church service, but a revival in our heart and minds. We need to get to that place that God wants us to be in, not where we feel it's o.k. to be. Read Psalm 51 and pray for your revival today.
